Confirmed: Noblin leaving hospital for job in Tenn. PRESS RELEASE CENTRE — Jeff Noblin,
Chief Executive Officer of Cherokee Medical Center, has resigned his
position and will step down, effective next month. Noblin has accepted the
CEO position for a 107-bed hospital in “Earlier this week, I
notified both our Community Health Systems’ Division leadership and our
local Board of Trustees that on July 9, I will vacate an office that has
provided much joy, tremendous fulfillment, and a wealth of warm memories and
enriching friendships,” said Noblin. “This was a very difficult decision and
it took some time to make. Nonetheless, I believe this decision is most
appropriate considering my career goals and the opportunity that has arisen
over the past few months. “To the entire Noblin joined “Cherokee has a firm
foundation for providing excellent patient care that will continue,” said
John Curry,
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of
Cherokee Medical Center. “We wish Jeff
much success in his new position and thank him for his many contributions to
our community.”
