CENTRE — Cherokee County Highway Dept. Chief Engineer Corey Chambers informed The Post this afternoon that the bridge on County Road 56 over Mill Creek is once again operational. 

“It’s open for business,” Chambers said Wednesday. “We have completed the replacement of the decking and installed new guardrails.” 

Chambers said the 140-foot span, located near Rock Hill Church in the Dewey community, was also widened “about two feet.”
